I wrote a series of articles for the site Retro Fusion a while back, which you can read on this blog if you click the Retro Fusion tag. Now the guy behind the site is bringing it to the masses in magazine form, but he needs our help to do it!
The mag hopes to attract funding via a campaign on Indiegogo, which is a bit like Kickstarter.
There’s a also a new website that it’s worth checking out as it will update with news about what’s going to feature in the magazine. One exclusive already announced is that the magazine will feature a brand new ZX Spectrum game written by the legendary Jonathan Cauldwell.
We’re also working on some other stuff that should be exciting, as yours truly is helping out and writing for it too!
The magazine will cover all things retro, focusing primarily on video games from all retro systems but also looking at the TV shows, films and even the sweets we enjoyed from back in the day. We’ve announced features on Space 1999, and a number of legendary figures from the retro scene will be contributing. Make sure you check the new Retro Fusion site regularly for more updates.
You can help fund the magazine from just a few quid, which gets you a digital copy of the magazine, while a bit more will order you a physical copy when it is produced.
If you want to help fund this great magazine (if I do say so myself) and get in on the ground floor (always a smug sense of satisfaction at knowing you were there first after all) then visit the campaign site and donate now!
